Hello, this is Dr. Kim Hyung-taek from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Today, I’d like to present a case involving a slightly long nose with noticeable asymmetry in the nostrils.

This case includes correction of a deviated nose, tip reduction, and dorsal hump surgery. In the pre-surgery photos, the nose exhibits a dorsal hump and a long, deviated shape.

Particularly noticeable in the bottom view is the severe asymmetry of the nostrils.

In cases like this, even with nasal deviation correction, the base of the nose often has height differences and may be slightly curved, which can limit the extent of correction.

While the nose can be improved significantly, it might still have a minor curve over time, though it won’t be as severe as before.

From the front view, the deviation of the nose is quite evident, with one side of the nasal tip appearing significantly collapsed.

This level of deviation often accompanies a deviated septum, necessitating dorsal hump removal and septal extension.

Ear cartilage may also be used if the septal cartilage is insufficient.

Though the post-surgery photo shows some redness at the tip, this is expected to subside over time, and there is no need for concern.

The deviation appears to be significantly corrected.

In the 45-degree view, you can see that the dorsal hump has been smoothly corrected, and the nasal tip has been refined to a more aesthetically pleasing shape.

From the side view, the previously prominent dorsal hump has been significantly smoothed out.

Given the initially high nasal bridge, the tip has been raised considerably to achieve balance.

Note that the nasal tip might slightly droop over time, so it is initially set a bit higher. For cases with a drooping tip, removing the depressor muscle helps maintain the desired position.

In the bottom view, the difference between pre- and post-surgery is striking, with the previously asymmetrical nostrils now appearing more balanced.

This nose job case review was taken immediately after surgery, showing a clear before and after result and the overall transformation of the rhinoplasty.
