Male Hump Nose Before and After Photos: Low Hump Nose Corrected with Dorsal Osteotomy, Achieving a Masculine High Nasal Bridge > Surgery Diary

Hello, this is Dr. Kim Hyung-taek from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Today, I’d like to introduce a case of a male patient with a hump nose who wanted to improve the appearance of his nose and achieve a masculine high nasal bridge.

The patient wanted to maximize the improvement of his hump nose and achieve a higher, more masculine nasal bridge.

From the photos, you can see that the glabella (the area between the eyebrows) appears sunken, and although the nasal bridge is high, the prominent hump on the bridge and the low nasal tip give the nose an unrefined look.

Additionally, from the front view, the nose seems lower due to the wide bridge. To address this, we performed a dorsal osteotomy to narrow the nasal bridge.

From the front view, you can see that the dorsal osteotomy has effectively reduced the width of the nasal bridge, making the nose appear higher and more defined, with a clearer transition between the nasal bridge and the cheeks.

The shape of the nasal tip has improved, and we performed a tip-plasty to correct the drooping tip.

This was done to enhance the overall appearance of the nose.

In the 45-degree and side views, the nose has transformed into a natural yet distinctly masculine and elegant shape.

While the nose was not completely low before, the low glabella was corrected with the addition of approximately 4mm of silicone.

This nose job case review was taken immediately after surgery, showing a clear before and after result and the overall transformation of the rhinoplasty.
