Male Rhinoplasty: Before and After Photos of Natural Straight Nose Male Rhinoplasty > Surgery Diary

Hello, I’m Dr. Hyeongtaek Kim from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Today, I’d like to introduce you to some before and after photos of male rhinoplasty.

The patient had a short nasal tip, and from the front, the nostrils were visible.

Overall, the nose was relatively small and low compared to the face, making the face appear less three-dimensional, with the midface looking recessed.

The lips also appeared protruded.

To address the short nasal tip, we performed septal extension surgery to sufficiently lengthen the tip.

During the consultation, we noticed that the nasal tip dropped significantly when the patient smiled.

Therefore, to maintain the position of the nasal tip post-surgery, we also performed a depressor septi muscle resection.

Here is a 45-degree angle view. As the nasal bridge was enhanced, the face's center gained more definition and a clear three-dimensional appearance.

We used septal cartilage and a small amount of ear cartilage.

A 3mm silicone implant was used, and we also performed a nasal tip cartilage suture to refine the broad nasal tip.

Additionally, since the patient's nasal tip skin was relatively thin, we applied an extra layer of AlloDerm (artificial dermis) to the nasal tip for better coverage.

This nose job case review was taken immediately after surgery, showing a clear before and after result and the overall transformation of the rhinoplasty.
